Probably one of the most accomplished and entertaining hockey clubs in the lower Oakworth/Keighley district, Airedale has been established as a local hockey club for many, many years, indeed some of our players still use the wooden sticks with the really long heads! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!
Airedale Hockey Club is based in Oakworth, West Yorkshire. We play our home games at Oakbank School (details on the contact page) and host a variety of clubs from all over the yorkshire leagues. We currently have 4 regular adult teams made up of players from all ages alongside a well established, but still up and coming junior section. If you live locally (and by locally I mean anywhere in the UK), and you want to join, we are always on the look out for new players. Whether you are young or not so young, expert or beginner, we will welcome you with open arms. That said however, if you happen to be a slow, overweight defender, we are already over our quota and currently have no room for any intakes in this department, although we would be happy to relocate you to a different position.

To all our current club members, welcome to your new website! This brand new website has been over a year in the making, granted about 99% of that year has been spent doing things not related in anyway to the website, but you have been waiting a year so I hope it has been worth the wait?!
Basically the sole aim of the website, for visitors and members alike, is to bring the club a lot closer and keep everyone informed. We want the first thing that you do on a Monday morning when you get to work to be check airedalehockey.co.uk for the latest match reports and informative news item.
That said, the website cannot funtion without its members. |
